A 70’s building apartment overlooking the central square of the city. The reveal of original materiality during dismantling works brought into consideration the delicate handling of such a case. As a result, the restoration – maintenance of these materials wherever possible, defined a coexistence between the past and the present.
The design process circulated around a neutral approach to engage with the existing wood carved furniture. A linear ambient light sequence runs through the offices that are combined in a series of connected working spaces, all having a direct communication with the reception.
A series of brass details as design objects and also as interconnections between materials underline the ritual of engaging old and restored materialities giving the essence of unpretentious luxury.
